Language

The official conference language is English.

The simultaneous English-Polish translation will be provided only for the sessions of the 6th National Conference of the Audiology and Phoniatrics Sections of the Polish Society of Oto-Rhino-Laryngologists and Head and Neck Surgeons.

Airport and Transport
 
Warsaw Fryderyk Chopin Airport is located in the south-west part of Warsaw, approximately 10 km from the city centre.
The airport is easy of access by car, the municipal bus service or taxi.

Municipal bus service :

There are three bus lines providing transport between F. Chopin airport and Warsaw districts:
 
Line 175
Goes to:
· Warsaw Central railway station - "Dworzec Centralny" bus stop (approx. 25 minutes)
· City center - "Centrum" bus stop, transfer to the underground (approx. 30 minutes)
 
Line 188
Goes to:
· the underground - "Politechnika" station (approx. 22 minutes)
 
Line N32 (night)
It is a night bus, operating from 23:09 to 04:39. Goes to:
· Warsaw Central railway station - "Dworzec Centralny" bus stop (approx. 25 minutes)
 
The regular bus ticket (day service) costs 2,80 PLN.

Credit cards

Currency

The currency in Poland is the Polish Zloty, PLN (sometimes written zl). Up-to-date exchange rates can be found online at http://www.nbp.pl/

Visa

Participants needing a visa for entry to Poland are strongly advised to make their application in their home country well in advance. Information can be obtained from your nearest Polish Embassy or Consulate or from your travel agency.

If you need an invitation for visa, please send an email specifying your name, surname, country, passport number and validity date, as well as a scan of the passport, to following email: info@efas2011.org . Please note that invitations will be issued only for registered participants who have paid the conference fee.

Insurance

The Conference Organizers do not accept any liability for personal injuries or for loss or damage to property belonging to conference participants, either during or as a result of the conference. It is recommended that you purchase an insurance policy of your choice in your country of origin.
 
Climate
 
In June temperatures in Warsaw vary between 15 degres Celsius at night up to 25 degres during the day. Clothing should be suitable for a moderate climate.
 
Electricity
 
The voltage in Poland is 230 V.
